We’re so excited to launch our new Strength classes TODAY!

and here’s why we are doing it……

Many of our Transform members already love yoga and Pilates — and for good reason. These classes help us develop:

• body awareness

• balance

• control

• mobility

• breathing and mindfulness

 

These are incredibly valuable skills.

However as we age, our muscles and bones need something more.

They need load.

It’s true that an older body needs to work harder to stay strong and Transform Strength classes add the missing piece by giving the muscles and bones a signal to get really strong.

 

Research shows resistance training can:

• improve strength in about 3 weeks

• improve body composition in about 4 weeks

• reduce visceral fat linked to heart disease and diabetes

• improve blood pressure and metabolic health

 

And perhaps most importantly:

• Strength builds confidence

• Confidence in lifting

• Confidence in balance

• Confidence in moving through life well

 

Many women hesitate to try strength training because they think:

• “That’s for gym people.”
• “I’m not strong enough.”
• “I’ll look silly.”

 

I have a hunch that after a few classes you might stop seeing strength training as exercise and start seeing it as self-investment.

 

Remember, what we do in our 40s, 50s & 60’s can strongly influence how we move in our 70s, 80s and beyond.
