Identity and Authenticity

Imagine unzipping this skin, and stepping out of it. Underneath is a fresher ‘you’. A more authentic being, closer to the real you. Relax into this. If it feels good to stay here, appreciating a new freedom, stay.

What are you loving about Spring?

What an instant mood lift for us all to awake to sunny blue days after the wettest August in 16 years.

I am loving the Dr Suess influence while collecting blue – yes, see right, blue! – eggs while caring for our neighbour’s chickens.
I love that I have spring cleaned a few rooms and spirited away

Aunt Deirdre’s Birthday Chicken

This was such a hit with my guests and everyone wanted to recipe. My only ego error in the creation was that I prepared it while chatting with my guests, so they got to see how easy it was to make! Magic Bean Chocolate Cake

Does it get any better than this? Moist, dense chocolate cake with loads of protein, fibre, and not a trace of gluten. So yummy it doesn’t even need icing. Thanks to my yogi neighbour and cool cook Kristen for this adapted thermomix recipe. Visitors to our studio had the cupcake version of this. My pre-schooler’s first attempt, one large round cake was deliciously moist inside and stayed scrumptious for days. What are you waiting for?
