This class is for any student who is newer to yoga and those who are passionate and curious with their practice and want to more deeply understand correct foundations as they build their practice. We want to give you the best possible start to what we hope will be a lifelong yoga love affair offering vibrant energy and wholesome good health.

It’s a great chance to cover the foundations of all the poses you will meet in class: Learn how to breathe using the Ujjayi breath, then get your bases covered with the four basic poses of yoga: Tadasana from which all the standing poses develop; Dandasana for the development of the seated postures; Salabhasana to correctly develop backbends; Savasana – to learn relaxation technique and emerge feeling fresh from the workshop. You will also better understand the dynamics of downward facing dog pose, sun salutes and Chaturanga (push up position) for shoulder safety and core strength.
