It’s a month since we opened and wow, what a delightful launch month it’s been. I couldn’t have hoped for better. Thank you all SO MUCH for your support by visiting us in our new yoga and pilates home. It’s great seeing you come through the door and even better seeing smiling faces at the end of class – such a joy and instant reward for we teachers.
From the first class I taught in the space (before we even officially opened, I taught a 10 year old birthday party class for a bunch of gorgeous gigglers) the word has spread and we have had loads of visitors, calls and interest.
Now our signage is up, more people are discovering us.
I feel so heartened to have had the support of playgroup mums, old friends and that so many of you brought along a friend to share a class this first month. To create satisfying, strengthening, squeezing, feel good classes with a sense of fun and community is what we are about.
Now, I had grand plans to be an eloquent blog writer, regaling you with all things yoga, but alas, for now I am still churning through business set up things, so the creativity seeds are lying fallow. . (I did write the ‘Ask the Expert‘ column in this month’s Australian Yoga Journal though – check it out to learn about yoga while detoxing and also about yoga practices for your time of month.) However, here is a recent blog post from one of the fabulous people who have taught me how to teach yoga, Eve Grzybowski. Eve writes daily on her blog, Yoga Suits Her and she has a delightful take on her lifelong love affair with yoga. Take a look I do hope it will encourage you to invite a friend along to try us out. Encouragement might be the best gift you can give a friend.
