Want a happy and peaceful teen in your home?

This term teacher Nikki has been working with the Teen Yoga group on developing stress reduction and focusing techniques for study help. She has been broadening their meditation skills by introducing a new meditation each week. As well, moving into the colder months she has included lots of meridian work to help strengthen immune systems and manage turbulent emotions.

With the change of seasons, the Teen Yoga group has done work on  ‘letting go’ of the old ways of thinking and belief patterns. Once that fresh space was created they then focussed on replacing those patterns with more positive ones including things like filling their time with activities, people and places that they enjoy and that will make them happy.

Teen Yoga resumes 16 July 2015 for the 10 week term.
