Nia Dance

Nia is an accessible dance technique that draws from martial arts, yoga, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais and other healing movement arts. It’s a way to feel into the joy in your body and move efficiently, in the ways your body is designed to move. Nia is low impact yet gets your heart beating. Nia promotes balance, stability and flexibility. There is no sense of ‘performing’ or needing to be anything different to what you are. Feel expansive and joyful as you tap into mindfulness and the wisdom of your body. From beginner to advanced, Nia is for everybody!
