New to Transform?

Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here. Whether it’s your first class or your first time back in a while, here’s everything you need to know before you arrive.

Who Do You Help?

We work with all kinds of people — from athletes to absolute beginners, from expectant parents to retirees, and everyone in between. You won’t get ‘gymtimidated’ at Transform. Instead, you will find a welcoming low-ego community of real people who enjoy getting fit and strong as a natural extension of their lifestyle. You will feel welcome here!

What type of classes do you offer?

We offer Yoga, Yin Yoga, Reformer Pilates, Cardio, Mat Pilates with Props, and Aerial classes.  We offer Forever Fit Classes – Chair Yoga and Pilates and also Kid’s Aerial Yoga Classes – Everything you and your family needs to stretch out and stay strong! Our members range from age 8 to 81.

Transform is open 7 days a week with classes in progress at times ranging from 6.15am to 7.30pm. Check our online schedule for the latest updates.

How large are your classes?

It depends a little on days and times. Eight is a common class size. We can accommodate up to 16 in our mat classes and up to 11 for reformer Pilates classes.

What to Bring

Besides a water bottle and a smile? 

Reformer: Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene. We have plenty in your size for sale at reception.

Aerial: Wear fitted clothing (no zippers or jewelry) and a top that covers your underarms.

Mat Classes: Bring your own mat if you can – we have loan mats available if needed. All other equipment is provided.

Strength Classes: This is a shoes on class. Please also bring grippy socks as some strength classes also use the reformer machines.

Our equipment is sanitised after each use.

Punctuality - Help Us Help You Best

We appreciate it if you arrive at least five minutes before class starts.

If anything about your health or fitness has changed, please come earlier to chat with your teacher.



Special Conditions, Safety & Injuries

If you’re managing an injury or special condition, feel free to call us before class so we can recommend the best options for your safety and comfort.  If you’re meeting a new teacher, please arrive 10 minutes early so we can ensure your class is safe and enjoyable.

Parking

Yes! There’s plenty of free, untimed street parking nearby. Our studio is close to the Balgowlah Bunnings, Harvey Norman – just cross at the Roseberry Street roundabout. You will find no pressure parking – untimed free street and local parking. Bunnings offers 2 hour parking to the public. (The best entrance to the carpark is Roseberry Street.)

Classes

How Do I Know What Type of Class Fits Me Best?

Pilates builds strength and mobility and is great for posture or rehabilitation.

Yoga combines stretching, strength, and mindfulness for calm and balance.

Reformer Align focuses on alignment and core control.

Reformer + Cardio brings energy, resistance, and flow for toning and stamina.

Our Strength Classes are designed by an exercise physiologist to strengthen bones, increase muscle strength, and develop cardio vascular fitness.

Yin Yoga Restore offers longer gentle stretches with breath work and mindfulness

Aerial Flow develops strength with the deep gravity assisted stretches

What Types of Yoga Do You Offer?

We offer Hatha Yoga (for quality stretching, balance, strength, and agility) which on our schedule is simply named, yoga. We also offer Restorative Yin Yoga (for slow gentle stretches, calm and deep relaxation).

What Makes Transform Unique?

Expertise: Our teachers have on average over 10 years teaching experience.

Variety: We offer strength, flexibility, and cardio options across our schedule. You will never get bored with our classes

Warmth: We’ve built a welcoming, ego-free community where everyone belongs.

Cancellation Window, Rescheduling and Waitlists

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 2 hours before start time. This way the class credit will automatically go back onto your account so you can use it for another time.

For Reformer classes only, there’s a $25 late cancel or no-show fee so that someone from the waitlist can join.  This is due to limited numbers in reformer classes – We have 11 machines. This fee does not apply to mat classes, but please cancel early as a courtesy.

Booking & Waitlist

We don’t oversubscribe our classes so members generally find it easy to book their first choice of classes. You can book or reschedule easily through the Momence app or our website.  

If a class happens to full, join the waitlist. Waitlists usually do clear — Should a space open up, everyone on the waitlist will get a text and email. The first to reply will be booked in and you will also get a confirmation that you have a spot and it is secure.

Staying Consistent

Sometimes it’s hard to stay motivated because motivation depends on emotions which can be rather changeable. Instead, we encourage our community to rely on building good habits as good habits will form your launch page do get you to where you want to go. Pre-booking your classes or joining as a member helps you stay on track and prioritize your wellbeing. We get it — life gets busy!  But when it’s in your diary you have a much greater chance of success!  (Plus our staff do our very best to make you feel so good during our classes that you can’t wait to book and come again!)

What’s the Teaching Team Like?

Transform has been in serving the local community for thirteen years. Led by Christina Brown, bestselling author of 6 books on yoga and health, Transform has 12 lovely instructors, all chosen for their expertise and caring (and their ability to give you tailored and wow-factor classes that get you feeling great.)

Our teachers have on average 10+ years of experience and they hold professional certifications in their fields of Yoga, Pilates.  Many teachers also have additional backgrounds in helping bodies such as massage, physiotherapy, and movement science.


Our Teachers are friendly, experienced, and passionate about their field. We aim to support, guide, and adjust to help you get the most out of every session. We love tailoring sequences or themes based on your needs — just ask!

Special Conditions

Pregnancy

We’ve helped hundred of women stay strong, supple and enjoy their pregnancies more. We often find it best to have a chat about what movement you have been doing lately and how far along you are and how you want to feel. Then we can advise the best options to suit your stage and match your goals. Email us or call us!

Injuries or Limitations

Please feel free to call us to discuss your situation before class.

We can advise suitable timings and steps to getting started and we can help you should modifications be required during classes so you will stay safe and progress as you rebuild ability, strength and confidence.



Members Section – Details for Members

Intro Pass & Casual Options

New to Transform? Try our Intro Offer – 5 classes in 20 days for just $67.

Casual classes are $34 each, and student concessions apply.

Freezing Your Membership

You can freeze your membership for up to 4 weeks per year (depending on your plan).

Contact us via our booking app text line or email us to request your freeze. Our office is staffed Monday to Friday and we aim for same day responses during business hours, around teaching times.

If you experience a medical or major life event, please reach out — we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Cancelling Your Membership

We’d be sad to see you go! If you feel you need to cancel due to a big trip away, please speak to us first as we can simply pause your membership at no fee.

 

Gold and VIP Membership cancellations require 28 days’ notice (2 payments).

 

To cancel, email admin@transformyoga.com.au or let us know via the booking app.

Our office is staffed Mon–Fri, so please allow time for processing. 

If you’re planning to return later, we’re always happy to welcome you back.



Referral Rewards

Invite a friend or family member for a complimentary class (limit one per person).

You can request a pass at reception, email us, or book your friend in directly through the Momence app. Both you and your friend can earn rewards when you refer! Learn how to use your referral link here.

Updating Payment Details

Update your payment details through Momence or contact the office by email for assistance.

We’re happy to help with billing or account changes during office hours.

To edit your card details in Momence:

  1. Log into your Momence account: https://app.momence.com
  2. Click on your Profile icon (top right corner).
  3. Select Billing Info from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click Add New Card and enter your updated credit card details.
  5. Be sure to make it your default payment method so future payments go through smoothly.
I Have Some Rolled Over Class Credits. How Can I Use Them?

If you have extra class credits from your previous fortnight/month, here is how you can book your next classes with it!

Our studio includes a bathroom, a shower, and retail space featuring mats, grip socks, practice props, and books by our founder, Christina Brown.

Energy & Stress Relief

Yes! Our classes balance energy and calm.

Whether you come for a mindful pause or a cardio boost, you’ll leave feeling uplifted.

Child-Friendly Classes

We offer kids aerial classes after school and during school holidays. Teens come to our drop in classes, sometimes accompanied by a parent, sometimes with a friend.
